John Reiner was born in Humphrey, Nebraska on February 16, 1938. He died on June 13, 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 76 after a long and courageous struggle with a series of health problems.
We will always remember John's great joy for life, his optimism, his strength, his curious mind and his deep love of his family and his wide circle of friends. We look forward to reading your stories, seeing your photos and celebrating John's life together.

If I could say anything about my Uncle John it would be this ... He was an inspired thoughtful man who always always made you feel that what you had to say , were doing at the time was the most important thing in the world. He was a kind gentle man who will be oh so missed. Love you

Once in a while a person comes along who makes you think about what is truly important, what it means to embrace life and rise above pain , what it means to truly care about others and help them grow,and also to appreciate the beauty of nature. John was that special person.The moments in time I had to spend with Dave's Dad John, I always wished we lived closer so that we could see more of John and Julie. I will miss John's thoughtful commentary, quick wit, unique laugh and sincere smile.
